Reducing harms associated with substance use and increasing the chances of sustained recovery
Our community has the right to live in a healthy and safe environment free from the harms of alcohol and drugs. The impact of alcohol and drug use in the Bailiwick includes poor health, illness, injury, crime, violence, anti-social behaviour and family and relationship breakdown.
Led by the Combined Substance Use Strategy for Guernsey and Alderney 2021 - 2026, our initiatives focus on prevention, early intervention and treatment and range from commissioned services within the community to public awareness campaigns and providing training.
