The Needle Exchange is delivered in the community by Independence. It is a place where injecting drug users can collect clean needles and injecting equipment and return them for safe disposal, whilst at the same time receive safer injecting advice to reduce the harms associated with injecting drug use. Service users can discuss related concerns or problems and also access treatment services or be signposted to relevant services if required.
