We commission Action for Children's Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco Education project to work across schools and the community to provide young people and those supporting them with honest, age-appropriate education which is designed to help students make informed choices. Children and Young people will meet the team many times through their education journey with lessons spread across years 7 right through to post 16.
Education is not just focused on the classroom as the team have engaging sessions that can also be delivered outside the class in community groups like youth clubs.
The project also delivers training to professionals to help them spot the signs of substance use and respond appropriately to young people they are working with.
