Action for Children are commissioned locally to deliver age-appropriate school-based education to all young people between 9 and 16 years old. Sessions focus on increasing knowledge and understanding of the issues around safer alcohol consumption and the consequences of taking harmful and illegal drugs.
Following the Combined Substance Use Strategy for Guernsey and Alderney 2021 - 2026, Action for Children now also focus on Tobacco, in education settings.
