"Supporting families to provide the best possible start in life"
Recognising the importance of the early years in a child's life, HENRY is a set of programmes and resources to help families create happier and healthier home environments. We have sponsored HENRY practitioner training for over 30 Health Visitors and staff working with young children across Guernsey and Alderney. The training aims to consolidate their knowledge, skills and confidence to work i partnership with families to make positive changes around healthy eating, physical activity and parenting strategies around food and behaviour management.
We established the HENRY 'Healthy Families Right from the Start' programme in 2020, working with families in the community. We have since trained seven people as Group Facilitators. Groups run several times throughoput the year, and the next group dates can be found here: Henry Information
