Recognising the importance of the early years in a child's life, HENRY is a set of programmes and resources to help families create happier and healthier home environments. We have sponsored HENRY practitioner training for all Health Visitors in Guernsey and Alderney to consolidate their knowledge, skills and confidence to work in partnership with families to make positive lifestyle changes including being active and good nutrition.
We established the HENRY 'Healthy Families Right from the Start' programme in 2020, working with families in the community. We have trained five people as Group Facilitators. Our first group was run at the end of 2021 at the Kindred Centre and we are starting a programme soon, please view the details here: Free HENRY programme information
